3D Women

3D women is a nonprofit organization based in Durham, NC. It focuses on allowing women to become self-actualized through positive programming, events, mentorship and fellowship. As a Public Relations consultant for this organization, my team and I conducted a communication audit, created promotional content and maintained the organization’s social media accounts and website.

Young Voices

Young Voices is a nonprofit talent agency and public relations firm for students and young professionals who study policy. I worked as a PR intern for the organization. In this role, I supported young professionals building their brands by pitching them to media outlets, providing them media preparation/feedback and contributing to the organization’s social media content.

Around Campus Group

The Around Campus Group was a media and marketing company that provided campus materials to over 200+ colleges. As a client relations associate, I managed client accounts for 12 publications and achieved a 90%+ advertising approval for 12 publications totaling $350K in sales.

Report Design

MEJO 531: PR Campaigns is the senior capstone course for public relations students in the journalism school. A team of five students and I developed a comprehensive Public Relations campaign. First, we conducted preliminary research utilizing primary and secondary research. Next, we formulated the PR plan. I designed this report and wrote the Methodology portion.

UNC Cypher

Video Production

MEJO 121: Introduction to Digital Storytelling is a course that introduces website design and video production. One half of the course teaches basic Html programming and designing a website on WordPress. The other teaches video production on Adobe Premiere. My final product from this course was a digital story on the student organization, UNC Cypher.
